Elopement Planning & Photography
Let’s dream up an experience as beautiful and meaningful as your love for one another.
The Process.
So where do we begin and what’s included?
During an in-depth consultation, Ajja will get a sense of what kind of feeling you would like to evoke during your vows and what elements in nature— water, foliage, lava rock, wind, sun— are important to you. She will get a sense of your history and your unique story as a couple.
Together, you'll explore what intrigues you about Hawaii as a place and culture. Ajja’s hope is that Maui will shine and lead the way through cultural narratives such as sense of place, humility and aloha.
When it comes time for your elopement, Ajja will draw out the essence of your relationship and translate that into beautiful imagery. The words that you use to describe your love is what you will see documented.
We will then discuss what elopement collection if the right fit for you. Our collections include photography, officiant, images, leis, attention of planning, permitting and more!
Meet Ajja
I have been photographing love and human connection for over a decade. I want my photographs to make you feel deeply and tell your story honestly and intentionally.
I grew up on Maui playing at the beach, doing gymnastics, taking endless dance classes and observing my parents as successful entrepreneurs. All of this is the foundation of who I am today. Maui is my home and it’s an honor to share it with you in my own unique way.
Beyond my love for photography and dance, I enjoy relaxing with my family in the yard and exploring new places. I love making people laugh and surrounding myself with people who I can laugh with. I love the adventurous outdoors, especially finding new waterfalls. I love surfing—there is something about being in the sun with friends, and the challenge to ride the perfect wave with style. I love to discover the love and mysteries of God in my life. I adore quiet. I love artists and their passion.

No I do not. I highly recommend having a rental car while on Maui. Lots to explore and many things can be spread out on different sides of the island. If you are looking to not drive on the day of your wedding I can recommend some great local car services

Giving Back.
Elope Maui is committed to supporting the preservation of Hawaiian culture through the protection of its land (‘aina).
3% of proceeds go to the following organizations for their unique contribution to land preservation:
-
Auwahi Project originated in 1997 as a grassroots, community-based effort working in collaboration with `Ulupalakua Ranch to save tracts of highly endangered dry forest at Auwahi as biological and cultural sanctuaries. Based on ecological success and community support, the Ranch committed progressively larger tracts towards forest restoration and preservation. Since its inception, the Auwahi project has restored forest primarily with the efforts of supervised volunteers from the community. As time proceeded, we have developed a large group of volunteers that are passionate, informed, and with a strong sense of ‘aloha ‘aina (love of land) for Hawaiian places, forests, and culture.
